Fees:
If an Alpaca needs to be picked up and/or delivered owner will pay $35/hour driving/pickup fee, both directions. (2 hours back and forth = $70). Multiple animals then add on $10 per animal per hour.  So a total of 5 animals would be $35 +$40/hour  = $75 per hour.  20 minute stops are scheduled every 3-4 hours so the alpacas get a rest from the travel.  Alpacas are never unloaded until they reach their final destination. 

Before or at the time of pick up, we require:
1. Completed the Animal Transport Contract
2. Each animal must be haltered and have the following:
v  A microchip
v Up-to-date Health Certificates from a vet (within the last 30 days and valid through final transport)
v Negative BVD PCR test is required for all alpacas.
v Proof of negative blood tests if required by the destination state. Regulations are located at

v Full mortality and theft insurance (If the owner declines to carry livestock insurance and hence act as self-        insured, Wind Chime Farms requires a waiver and release of liability.)

Note: Any animal suspected to be a threat to the health of other on-board alpacas will be rejected for travel. We reserve the right to use our discretion in this and other matters.
